‘Change’ is the little secret that nurtures a new world or environment. As we look back on our lives, we can answer the legitimate query of “how our lives changed”. In addition, this feeling is easily sensed before the sun rises. As we used to go out to play without even thinking of mud, dust and sun. Perhaps this sense has diminished considering Social Media.

Despite this, Social media has become a part of our lives. No one can imagine a day without it. I would definitely say “it’s a sweet ripping drug” to our daily commutes. Undoubtedly, None can deny the fact that it’s taking us towards addiction.
Time Consuming or Relieving
Now let’s jump to our bean bag while scooping out what social media is capable of. One of the basic and most related points that clicks to my head is “Connection”. Social Media access the convinces of connectivity between P2P and B2B.
Earlier it was by letter or speed post whereas now, done within a fraction of seconds instant messages. One can easily send it to multiple users with internet connectivity. And this makes it a compelling, convenient and reliable “Source of Communication”.
Exploring or Virtual Anxiety
Finally, communication is done with friends and family. Planning to explore something new, but no place to decide to use social media for it. Yes, you heard it correct. However, earlier we used to read books, research or watch television to discover culture or land but now it’s effortless with social media.
The live feed feature and media blogger made it more doable. Indeed, it has removed all barriers and turn out the possibility of attending it without standing on the ground.
Viral or Panic
Peeking out from the bag of discovery and exploring we just skipped the most vital feature of social media “NEWS!”. Social media is just a saviour, while we no longer require any tuning of news channels every morning or evening. Every trending news is quietly represented to the users and with media features, you can also subscribe to news. On an easy way – “In a short period, you get everything on one platform” and that by chatting with your friends.
On Ground or Off Ground
What if I wanted to share my headbanger metal concert or classical event or witness something serious? Undoubtedly! no worries social media broadcasts live moments to your followers. If we think it wisely and understand the bright side, it creates public awareness such as, talking about taboo things that have become hidden from our society that might bring some hope to someone’s life.
As of now, social media has brought many advantages to our lives. Business growth, better connectivity and glimpse of our surrounding makes social media popular. But there are certain issues that people don’t want to talk about.
As per my opinion, social media is like yin and yang, where it comes with positivity and negativity like mental health, time wastage, and emotional traumas. No doubt it has become a part of life we must also understand its hitch.
